Among Friends

Javier Zafra (Bassoon)
Capella Cracoviensis
Jan Tomasz Adamus

Haydn and Mozart maintained a special friendship, personal and musical alike. Mutual admiration characterized their relationship as much as a fruitful, good-natured rivalry. They spurred each other on in their chamber music as well as their symphonies and concerts, although each kept his own unmistakable style. Since its founding in 1970, the musicians of the Capella Cracoviensis have been considered experts in historical performance practice and are above all at home in the First Viennese School. They were last guests at the Brühler Schlosskonzerte in 2013 with an acclaimed concert.
