Pure Beethoven

Fabian Müller (Piano)

When Fabian Müller took part in the renowned ARD Music Competition in 2017, he made quite a splash, winning no fewer than five prizes – among them the audience prize. In 2018 he made his debut at, among other places, New York’s Carnegie Hall and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. At the Brühler Schlosskonzerte there’s a little teaser of the Beethoven Year 2020, when the whole world celebrates the 250th birthday of the most famous native of Bonn. Some of the most beautiful works that Beethoven composed for piano are included in the program, among them the “Moonlight Sonata,” the “Pathétique” sonata and the “Pastoral.” For Fabian Müller, who like Beethoven comes from Bonn, “brilliant, deeply moving music.”
