A Little Night Music

Pavel Serbin (violoncello)
Hofkapelle München
Rüdiger Lotter (violin and conductorship)

They have existed in their current form and orchestration since 2009, but the tradition upon which they are established reaches back to the 16th century: the Hofkapelle München under the aegis of the Baroque violinist and conductor Rüdiger Lotter. The ensemble has performed in opera and concert with many greats from the international “original sound“ scene. Among his multitude of recordings is the breathtaking, sleek complete recording of the Brandenburg Concertos. Munich shines with this formation which consists of pure virtuosos, among them the Russian viol player and Baroque cellist Pavel Serbin. For their guest appearance in Brühl, the Hofkapelle Munich will perform concertos from Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Joseph Haydn, along with a Salzburg divertimento from Mozart and his most popular piece of all time, the legendary “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.“

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791)

Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714-1788)
